Aviation Aerospace Women of Excellence is looking for your stories. We’re surveying women across the spectrum of the aviation and aerospace industries to learn about the challenges you’ve faced and what you love about taking flight.

Why are we conducting this research on women in aviation and aerospace?
Existing research on women in the aviation and aerospace industries has been difficult to come by. Why do women join the field? What experiences do they face? And how can we help attract, retain, and support women in these industries?
The editorial board behind the Aviation Aerospace Women of Excellence project are all women passionate about flight and equally passionate about helping other women succeed in this growing industry. We wanted to learn more about your work and experiences in order to help promote these fields to more women interested in careers in flight.
What will this research be used for?
Once the surveys are compiled, we’ll be combing through the results and producing a book with research findings and profiles of selected women in aviation and aerospace. These books will be available to industry groups, industry professionals, and the general public to help raise awareness about women succeeding in these fields.
Proceeds from the book will help fund scholarships to help women pursue careers in both the aviation and aerospace industries.
